I don’t know much about you (yet) but here’s a little about me….

I eat / drink chocolate at least twice a day, I’m learning Portuguese, I have a cat named Dinky and I’ve recently figured out how to keep at least 75% of all my house and garden plants alive (BIG WIN).

And, April 2022 I released an album called DEAR JOHN.

I wrote the album after the dramatic ending of a toxic relationship. Like, really dramatic. And really toxic 🙅‍♀️

But, actually, the album has nothing to do with John (not his real name).

This album documents my process of healing, learning and rising up to become the woman I want to be.

It’s been more three years since I released these songs and this album has completely changed my life.

When I was writing the songs it was so cathartic - I was literally unlearning years of trying to be the “perfect” girlfriend / girl / woman / friend / sister / daughter / human, to “earn” love from others - and learning, instead, to love myself first.

But it was SO clear that I wasn’t just making this album for me. I felt like I was making it for a woman I didn’t know yet… Maybe I was making it for you?

DEAR JOHN is ten songs of extreme truth.

Making this album was the most terrifying thing I’ve ever done.

But, it was also the most liberating and rewarding thing I’ve ever done.

The response to the album has been epic. I’ve had people tell me that it’s helped them understand their worth, that it’s helped them end some not-so-great relationships and that it’s given them words for experiences they couldn’t previously articulate.

I’ve always wanted to help make the world a better place and I struggled for a long time, thinking that writing songs was “selfish”. I don’t think that anymore.

But, still, I want to do something very “unselfish”. I want you to have this album. In fact, I want as many people as possible to have this album. So, for a limited time it’s free / pay what you want.
